Renovation Pics

Well, they finished the tile this morning. So as promised, here are pics of the new carpet, tile floors, and hardware that is in the kitchen and will be in the bathrooms. This are slowly coming together! Hopefully Kyle gets better soon too! We love you little bird!:)

Renovations

Well, the carpet is all in, and most of the tile is done. They completed the kitchen today, except for putting the transitions and baseboards back in. Tomorrow they will be back to finish the foyer. I can't wait to get the house back in order and all cleaned up for Kyle's Baptism on Saturday. We have also updated the knobs and handles in the kitchen and have them to replace in all three bathrooms.

Kyle is still having a lot of acid reflux issues and it breaks my heart that he hurts so bad. All I can do is cry because he is such a trooper, but has a very hard time sleeping through it. I just hope we can get this all fixed soon! On a high note, yesterday he rolled over from his back to his tummy. He did it twice, and then did it again today! David has yet to see it, but I know in time he will get to.

Once the kitchen and the rest of the house is all put back together, I will post pictures of all the new floors and kitchen hardware. We are one step closer to completing the kitchen. Now it is just a back splash and new counters, however that is not coming anytime soon. We still have to do the rest of the carpets in the basement and the formal living room first. Little by little we are getting there:)

3 Months

It has been a while, but not a ton has gone on. David has been working a lot. Kyle is now on two acid reflux medicines in order to get everything under control. He also turns 13 weeks or 3 months tomorrow! The biggest piece of news probably has to be that we are getting new carpet for the upstairs and stairs tomorrow. We are also getting new tile for the kitchen and foyer in a week. We are very excited about it, but as with all home renovations, it comes with a hefty price.

Yesterday was David's and my 2nd wedding anniversary. We did things around the house and went out to dinner at Cheesecake Factory. Kyle was so good while we were out! We had a wonderful time and we look forward to many more adventures out together:)

On Wednesday, Nana is going to visit Kyle, and on Thursday we are meeting Pop pop for lunch at Cracker Barrel on Kent Island.

I can't believe I only have 4 weeks left before I go back to work:( I am going to miss all my time with Kyle, David, and Bandit! Though I look forward to next summer when we can be out and about more!

Swimming

Yesterday we took Kyle up to Shipley's Choice Pool for the first time! He loved it and did great. We were only there about 30 min, but for his first time, it was fabulous:) I can't wait till next summer when he can really enjoy the pool:)!

Kyle seems to be doing well on the new formula Alimentum. He has been on the Prevacid for about a week now, and is doing well except when we get close to the 24 hour mark since his last dose. Then he is cranky and arching his back and has a hard time eating his bottle cause his tummy hurts, but hopefully that will improve the longer he is on the medicine.

David works for the next five days, so Kyle and I are going to get a lot of time together:) I am really going to enjoy that since I have to go back to work in 5 weeks :( Kyle has also really taken to cuddling his puppy blanket and using his binky when he is falling asleep. We do not let him take them in the crib with him though. We believe that he is starting to teeth cause he is constantly drooling and has his hands in his mouth. Time will tell:)

Furniture

Today our new furniture was delivered. We went out on Wednesday to Value City Furniture and got 3 new pieces. A reclining couch, a rocker recliner, and a new counter height kitchen table. The couch and chair are a chocolate colored leather and the kitchen table has stone inset in the dark wood.

Additionally, I went to the allergist today and it was confirmed that I am now lactose intolerant:(. At least I can eat other things and will not get sick unlike my poor Kyle!

Kyle

Well, we have had to switch formulas for Kyle yet again. After 3 weeks of diarrhea, spitting up more than he used to and a few hours after he ate, and finally not wanting to eat; we headed to the doctors again yesterday. Kyle is now on Prevacid for acid reflux and Similac Alimentum which is hypoallergenic because we believe he has a milk allergy not just a lactose allergy:( poor little guy! We are hoping to get him all better soon so keep us in your thoughts and prayers!

Yesterday Meredith's son Max was born at 7 pounds 8 ounces. Kyle now has a playmate his age:)
