OB Appointment

Well I am now officially on Turkey break till Monday morning :) Conferences went well, and I am glad to have a few days to rest and relax! I went to the OB again today for my 18 week check. Peanut was being feisty and did not want to stay still long enough to hear the heart beat at first, but once the doctor pinned it down, there was a healthy active heartbeat. She noted that I have a lively one...great lol! I also got my referral to go to the special OB office to find out the gender and get all the measurements, etc. So bright and early next Wednesday December 2nd, we will be there to find out what Peanut's real name will be. 7am bright and early that is. We have a definite boy name picked out, but are debating between 2 girl names at the moment. Tomorrow we head to Easton for some QT with David's family. We will be returning at some point on Friday.

On a side note, David has finally gotten all the wallpaper down in the kitchen...now we can spackle, prime, and paint:) After that room comes our room, and then the nursery. Then I guess more wallpaper removal in the dinning room and foyer.

We had one of the chimney's cleaned today and found out that we needed to replace the 6 square feet of chimney cap. You know the metal grate that sits on the top of your chimney. Total cost...$1000...for a piece of metal and labor! CRAZY!!!!!!! Just bad timing that about 2 weeks ago we had to replace the water heater and that was $1000 as well, and we are greeting the holidays as we speak. Well, now we can officially say that all our money is going into the house and Peanut. Who said it was good to grow up? Lol!

As stated previously we are really hoping to get the registry started on Saturday...this will also be our Christmas wish list :)

I hope everyone has a restful and relaxing few days, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Oh Yeah GO COWBOYS!

Snuggle Time

Kisses for Mommy. Lap time with Daddy.
As close to lap time with Mommy that we are going to have for a while.
17 Weeks Pregnant
It seems to have been a good weekend. My OSU Buckeyes beat their arch rivals Michigan, securring the Big Ten Championship all for themselves and are now heading towards the Rose Bowl on New Years Day!
Yesterday was a nice day at home with Bandit and David. Bandit was in the mood to snuggle and be a lap dog. It was very cute and he just wants to be as close as possible to us.
We also took a 17.5 week photo of baby Peanut. I am definately excited for the OB appointment on Tuesday. However tomorrow I have to make it through 12 hours at school first with it being the first day of conferences...oh well at least Tuesday is only 4 hours.
I met up with April at Babies-R-Us to start looking at some car seats, strollers, pack-n-play, etc so that when David and I go we have a more productive visit and are not sitting there clueless. We hope to go next Saturday to start making the registry list. That is only if it is not crazy busy being the day after Black Friday. Hopefully it will be just as fun to do as it was to create our wedding registry:)

17 Weeks

Well, today marks the 17th week of baby Peanut. We go to the OB on Tuesday November 24th and we will hopefully be making the appointment for the big Ultrasound to find out what Peanut is...fingers crossed. I think I have felt a little fluttering going on, which is baby swimming around. I don't feel it all the time and they say that that is normal at this time since most people don't normally feel movement till around 20weeks. David cannot feel it yet cause you cannot feel it from the outside...hopefully soon! Here is a little more back ground info on where we are with baby Peanut.

17 Weeks Pregnant

I also survived my overnight field trip to Arlington Echo with my 2nd graders. We arrived yesterday at 10 am and got back to school at 1:30 pm. The kids had a blast, as well as all the adults. The weather was beautiful yesterday and we really lucked out in the no rain until after we got home today. Most of the kids went home with their parents...they were SO TIRED! We all were. That's what bunk beds and 7/8 year olds running around having the time of their lives will do to you. It didn't help that I did not have all my comforts of my bed to keep me cozy with Peanut, but we made it! I am just glad everything went smoothly and there were no issues.
I just have to make it through tomorrow at school and then I get to rest on Saturday. Thank Goodness!

Clothes and Packing

Clothes from Mary and Chelley.
Well, in prepping for Peanut, Mary and Chelley gave me their maternity clothes that they no longer needed or wanted. After going through all of them...and Mary had TONS, I have come to the conclusion that I will never need to buy any maternity clothes...thanks guys :) This came at a good time since for the first time today I put on a pair of my pants that I normally wear that no longer fit. Mind you they fit at my weight, but not with the weight being so centralized:( Oh well that is to be expected.

Tomorrow the 2nd grade is going to Arlington Echo for an overnight field trip...wish me luck! I will let you all know on Thursday how it went and if I survived:P
David has almost all the wallpaper down in the kitchen and once that is done, we can paint the kitchen, switch out the hardware, and put up our pictures and we will have another room done. Of course if you are itchin to paint...let us know, I can cook really well and we could sure use the help!

New Camera

Our baby Bandit Boo. He is soo cute!
16 Weeks Pregnant
Well, we finally got the new camera...the Nikon L100. We love it and got a really good deal on it and it's accessories. We wanted to add a few cute pics of our first "child" Bandit...most of you know he is our baby:) Then we wanted to final take and add a picture of Peanut belly. That is what we are calling the baby till we know the gender.
Tonight we are heading over to the Voorheeses for dinner and to get some maternity clothes from Mary. We will also get to see the Wilcox clan whom we have not seen in a while. Should be a great time!
So I guess this is the first of many purchases that are for the baby!

16 Weeks

Here I go trying out this blog thing. April is really good, so hopefully I can be half as diligent as she is :) Tomorrow November 12, 2009 I will hit 16 weeks into the pregnancy! Yes only about 5 months to go. Bandit has been my little shadow since before I even knew I was pregnant. He has to say good night to me every night...he comes to my side of the bed and licks my hand before he will go lay down.

We are looking into purchasing a new digital camera soon, our Christmas gift to each other, so hopefully some good pics will be up soon.

Our next visit to the OB is Tuesday November 24th...hopefully things will continue to go well, and we will know the gender of the baby soon. This is a web page explaining about where I am in the pregnancy:

Nana, David's mom, is getting ready to make a quilted wall hanging for the room. We are all very excited about everything to come...even Bandit:)
