Date Night and USNA

Yes, I know I have slacked a little bit, but here we go. On Tuesday the 1st, April came down to watch Kyle so that David and I could go out and celebrate my birthday. We were so grateful to her and Kyle loved the time with his aunt! Earlier that day, I had a pedicure and a massage as a part of my birthday treat as well.

On Wednesday we met David's dad down at the Naval Academy for some pictures. Since Doyle is a '65 grad, we thought it would be neat to have pics of Kyle and Pop pop on the Yard.

David ended up working the whole weekend, so not much occurred. However, I want to tell my grandma that she is loved, since she passed away peaceful of natural causes on Sunday the 6th. We were going to try and make it up to New Jersey for the funeral, but the logistics of everything could not come together.

Tomorrow I am going to school to finish report cards, do some text book inventory, and then go to a retirement dinner for two of our staff members. David will have Kyle for 7 or so hours, this will be a good trail run for next week when I go back to school for a few days.

We have planned Kyle's Baptism for Saturday July 31, 2010. His two Godmothers are April and Melissa. They are both very excited and we cannot wait for the event. Next Saturday we are planning on going up to visit with April, Ben, and the twins for a BBQ picnic. Hopefully the weather holds out!

The newest thing Kyle has done is to roll over onto his side completely! It was so neat, but also scary cause he does not have his neck 100% under control so I don't want him to not be able to breath. Tomorrow marks 7 weeks for Kyle...I can't believe it!

Daddy and Kyle. I love my two boys :)
Mommy and Kyle.
I think he is confused.
Pop pop and Kyle in front of Mt. Herdon on the Naval Academy Yard. Pop pop is the class of '65, who knows maybe Kyle will follow in his foot steps?!
