Time has gone by, and now you need to be filled in on what is happening with our little man and the rest of the family!
Christmas was a huge success at our house this year. Nana, Pop pop, Grandpa, Aunt Meredith, Uncle Karl, Liesel, and Max all joined us. The previous night, Kyle and I went to mass with April. I also finished my 3rd class the week of Christmas with another A. The first week of January, I started my 4th class. I have just finished that one and earned an A again. I am starting my 5th class, and looking forward to the end of April when I get to be done until September and gain some much needed family time! Until then, it is teach, learn, and be a mommy:)
Kyle is now 10 months old! He has two teeth, can say Mama and Dada, waves, sort of points, crawls everywhere, cruises, pulls up and stands up, knows his name, claps, helps to dress and undress himself, turns light switches on and off, hand feeds himself, has the most wonderful laugh and smile in the world, has a definite mind of his own, and is the best little man in the world! He has taken 3 single steps, and we are just waiting for him to start walking.
In late January, he got really sick with the stomach flu for 2 weeks. He lost over a pound and was so sick. It was awful to see him so miserable. In mid February, we tried to take him off one of his doses of meds, but to no success. His reflux was awful within 48 hours, so after a week he was back on the 4 doses a day. All things considered, he is such a happy little boy, and we love seeing him grow and learn.
We have had much less snow than last year, and that makes me very happy. I am counting down the days till it is warm, and we can take Kyle out to play! Bandit is getting anxious about being outside and swimming too...come on summer!
In February, my phone was stolen, so all my wonderful pics have been lost. We get new phones soon, and I cannot wait!
I look forward to April 20th when our little bird turns 1! I can't believe that he has grown so much. I also can't wait to see what he does next. Stay tuned to see what new adventures Kyle takes us on. I promise that once this class is over, I will post 2-3 times a week. Until then, I will try to get them in every week or so.

Wow, it has been quite some time. With the start of my master class on November 1st, my time has been very full with school work, teaching, and being a mommy to the best little guy in the world. I will try to be better, especially with the holidays approaching, but bare with me!
To catch you all up, we have seen Halloween come and go, along with Thanksgiving. For Halloween Kyle got to come to my school for our parade and for my my kids to see. We dressed him up at Tigger, and he was so gosh darn cute! On actual Halloween day, we went to Mike and Diane Lash's house to hang out and do some Trick-or-Treating. We were there with Meredith, Karl, Max, and Liesel. Nana joined in the fun too! Kyle had fun, but next year will be so much better!
We also got our first family photos done. The photographer said he was so good and loved the camera...which is true he is such a ham!
November is coming to a close and with that, is Thanksgiving. We went to Nana's house in Easton for a couple of days. The Weiss clan was there as well and we all had a blast. Kyle got to meet cousins Bill and Nancy and see Gillian, Mike, and Fionn again. Additionally Aunt Marilyn and Pop pop joined in the fun! It was nice to spend time with the family.
My dad went to Williamsburg for the holiday, but got to spend all day Sunday before the holidays with us...it was good to see grandpa again.
My classwork continues to keep me busy, but I am half way through my 3rd overall class which is nice. This one will end right around Christmas, and then I will restart the 3rd of January and go for 16 weeks straight taking 2 classes before I get another 6 months off. I can't wait for that time! David has been great watching Kyle while I work, but it will be nice to have more family time, especially as Kyle gets older.
We had to take Kyle to a Peds GI special st for his reflux. He is on meds 4 times a day and is still having troubles. He has to get blood work and an X-ray this coming week before we know if there is an endoscopy in his future or surgery or what the plan is...pray for him please! He now sits up on his own all the time and can get to that position from laying down. He is starting to crawl forward and is very successful at going backwards. We are hoping that by the time we go over to Nana's to decorate the tree in 2 weeks he will be full on crawling. Then he can help...lol. Kyle loves his jump-a-roo and playing with Bandit. We hope to get Kyle to see Santa, as well as our Christmas shopping done soon. I have Christmas cards to get written, as well as making it through the next few crazy weeks at school. I hope we do not see the snow we saw last year, or any snow for that matter. Time will tell. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and look back for more info on how our Little Bird is doing!

Mid October
Well, we are half way through October. On David's birthday we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Melting Pot. We took Kyle with us and he did great. Though he seemed to want to eat with us lol. Last weekend we went to Mary and Reed's for Kaitlynn's 1st birthday party and for football. It was a great day! Yesterday my dad, Kyle, and I went to Leesburg, VA for my cousins twins 2nd birthday party. It was wonderful to see family and for them to get to meet Kyle! Tonight we are going to Paladar Rum Bar for a family dinner with David's family for his birthday. Yes it is 11 days late, but people were out of town, so this is when it worked out.
Last week David took Kyle back to the doctors. He is now on his Zantac with his first and last bottle of the day, and his Prevacid still with his second. His reflux seems to be getting worse not better:( He goes back on the 26th for a meds check up as well as his 6 month shots. He is also eating fruit and oatmeal with his second bottle and baby meats and veggies with his last bottle. It is so amazing how much he has grown! We are in the middle of revamping his schedule trying to get him to go to bed earlier. He sleeps well for about 4ish hours and then needs a diaper change, and then sleeps well for about 3ish hours and then the last hour or so he is fussy. Hopefully once he is adjusted to this new schedule in the next week or so he will get better with that as well! Kyle can sit up all by himself and is trying to pull himself to a sitting position from laying down. He is also trying to crawl! He loves his jump-a-roo and playing with his toys. I can't believe he will be 6 months on Wednesday. I will post some newer pics then:)

Fall is Here
Alas, fall is here. I know it stinks! It is starting to get colder and I hate it! I miss summer so much. The school year is rolling along, though it could go faster if you ask me:) I like my kids, but I love my family and miss all the time I got to spend with them in my time off. This coming Wednesday is David's birthday. We are not sure of our plans yet, but it will be fun to have Kyle here with us this time in person! It was at this time last year that we told our family's that we were pregnant, and in 17 days Kyle will be 6 months old...amazing! We have a lot of firsts coming up for us with family pictures, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Here's to making many more wonderful family memories.
I start up my masters classes again on the 1st of November, I am not looking forward to the work, but once it is all done I will be happy. Though that is still 2 years away:( I will take 3 classes this year and they will be finished by the end of April...come on spring!
I hope to be able to post more frequently again..sorry for the slacken!

Williamsburg
On the days right before we left, Kyle has really been starting to wait his teething rings. He has been drooling more and chewing on everything. Maybe we will see a tooth or two in the near future.
On Friday September 24, 2010, David, Kyle, and Bandit picked me up from school to head down to Williamsburg, VA for our first family vacation. We were going to visit with my aunt and uncle who live down there and visit Colonial Williamsburg and Bush Gardens as well. My dad was already down there, so it was nice to get to join the mini vacation with him as well. On Saturday we went to Colonial and took Bandit with us. He enjoyed getting out of the house and getting to be in the fresh air. The weather was warm and sunny. We went home to rest before going out to dinner and watch the Buckeyes play as well. On Sunday we went to Bush Gardens. The weather was cloudy and chilly, but it did not rain! It was pretty empty at the park with it being a Sunday and the weather being iffy, so we barely had to wait on any lines. We were able to ride all the coasters and really enjoyed ourselves. In fact we took Kyle on his first ride, the Carousel. He had a blast. We can't wait till he is big enough to go on some of the actual kiddie rides, hopefully next year he will be able to. I took Monday off so that we could have that as a travel day. It was so nice to get away, but nice to be back home as well. It is a lot harder to travel these days, but I love the change!
Time for the teeth to start tryin to poke through.
Hey I see you watchin me!
Time to pack for Williamsburg...though there seems to be a hold up...
