Well, we are half way through October. On David's birthday we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Melting Pot. We took Kyle with us and he did great. Though he seemed to want to eat with us lol. Last weekend we went to Mary and Reed's for Kaitlynn's 1st birthday party and for football. It was a great day! Yesterday my dad, Kyle, and I went to Leesburg, VA for my cousins twins 2nd birthday party. It was wonderful to see family and for them to get to meet Kyle! Tonight we are going to Paladar Rum Bar for a family dinner with David's family for his birthday. Yes it is 11 days late, but people were out of town, so this is when it worked out.
Last week David took Kyle back to the doctors. He is now on his Zantac with his first and last bottle of the day, and his Prevacid still with his second. His reflux seems to be getting worse not better:( He goes back on the 26th for a meds check up as well as his 6 month shots. He is also eating fruit and oatmeal with his second bottle and baby meats and veggies with his last bottle. It is so amazing how much he has grown! We are in the middle of revamping his schedule trying to get him to go to bed earlier. He sleeps well for about 4ish hours and then needs a diaper change, and then sleeps well for about 3ish hours and then the last hour or so he is fussy. Hopefully once he is adjusted to this new schedule in the next week or so he will get better with that as well! Kyle can sit up all by himself and is trying to pull himself to a sitting position from laying down. He is also trying to crawl! He loves his jump-a-roo and playing with his toys. I can't believe he will be 6 months on Wednesday. I will post some newer pics then:)

Fall is Here
Alas, fall is here. I know it stinks! It is starting to get colder and I hate it! I miss summer so much. The school year is rolling along, though it could go faster if you ask me:) I like my kids, but I love my family and miss all the time I got to spend with them in my time off. This coming Wednesday is David's birthday. We are not sure of our plans yet, but it will be fun to have Kyle here with us this time in person! It was at this time last year that we told our family's that we were pregnant, and in 17 days Kyle will be 6 months old...amazing! We have a lot of firsts coming up for us with family pictures, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Here's to making many more wonderful family memories.
I start up my masters classes again on the 1st of November, I am not looking forward to the work, but once it is all done I will be happy. Though that is still 2 years away:( I will take 3 classes this year and they will be finished by the end of April...come on spring!
I hope to be able to post more frequently again..sorry for the slacken!

Williamsburg
On the days right before we left, Kyle has really been starting to wait his teething rings. He has been drooling more and chewing on everything. Maybe we will see a tooth or two in the near future.
On Friday September 24, 2010, David, Kyle, and Bandit picked me up from school to head down to Williamsburg, VA for our first family vacation. We were going to visit with my aunt and uncle who live down there and visit Colonial Williamsburg and Bush Gardens as well. My dad was already down there, so it was nice to get to join the mini vacation with him as well. On Saturday we went to Colonial and took Bandit with us. He enjoyed getting out of the house and getting to be in the fresh air. The weather was warm and sunny. We went home to rest before going out to dinner and watch the Buckeyes play as well. On Sunday we went to Bush Gardens. The weather was cloudy and chilly, but it did not rain! It was pretty empty at the park with it being a Sunday and the weather being iffy, so we barely had to wait on any lines. We were able to ride all the coasters and really enjoyed ourselves. In fact we took Kyle on his first ride, the Carousel. He had a blast. We can't wait till he is big enough to go on some of the actual kiddie rides, hopefully next year he will be able to. I took Monday off so that we could have that as a travel day. It was so nice to get away, but nice to be back home as well. It is a lot harder to travel these days, but I love the change!
Time for the teeth to start tryin to poke through.
Hey I see you watchin me!
Time to pack for Williamsburg...though there seems to be a hold up...

Zoo
On September 18, 2010 we took Kyle for his first visit to the Zoo. We took the metro into the DC National Zoo. We met up with April, Ben, Zak, and Ryder. The plan had been to meet at the front of the zoo, but when we switched lines at the Metro Center and got onto the green line train headed for the zoo, we walked right onto the same train and section that the Croissants were on. It was really funny. The twins really enjoyed seeing all the animals and I can't wait till Kyle is old enough to really enjoy it as well. He loved being out in fresh air and it was a gorgeous day. It was right around 80 degrees and sunny. We got to see all our favorite animals! It was also wonderful to spend the day with such great friends:)
