The time has just flown by. We have already had 3 weeks of school with the kids. I definitely miss my students from last year, but this years group is growing on me. It is hard to leave everyday knowing that I am missing so much of Kyle's life. He is asleep when I leave, and I only get to see him about 2.5-3 hours each night at home. I cherish our time together on the weekends. We have had a few extra days off here this past week and I have loved every minute with my boys. As the weather gets cooler, we have been able to take Kyle outside more and he loves to look around when we go on walks. He has become so active and full of life. He is curious and wants to explore everything. His newest fascination is Bandit! He loves it when Bandit licks him and when he can grab onto Bandit. It is really a cute site to see the two of them together. Kyle is grabbing everything in site and loves to play in the mirror. He rolls over all the time and is even sitting up some by himself. He is really strong and likes walking while you hold him up. His laugh lights up the room and just melts our hearts. Yesterday at school, Kelly was playing Peek-a-Boo with him and he was having the time of his life. Kyle also loves to sing The Wheels on the Bus, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, and Snuggle Puppy. He is playing more and more with toys and stuffed animals. He learns more and more everyday and I can't wait for all the new things he will be doing in the near future. Kyle still loves his oatmeal and in about two weeks we can introduce veggies to him! I can't believe how big and grown he already is:) Yet, he is still my little bird!
Last Monday we went to the Maryland/Navy game Doyle, Meredith, and Karl...it was a good game even though the wrong team won. Nana got to watch Kyle and she loved every second of it!
On Saturday we are planning on going to the DC Zoo with April, Ben, Zak, and Ryder. As long as the weather cooperates that is. The following weekend, we head down to Williamsburg with my dad to visit my aunt. It will be our first offical vacation as a family and we are so excited! We should have plenty of wonderful photos from the weekend:)
Kelly is coming over for dinner tonight, and OSU plays Miami...should be interesting. GO BUCKS!!! We have off again on Tuesday for primary elections, so I hope to post MANY more recent pictures of our growing little boy!
